first with Torpare. Eric Carlsson lived at Flosjöhyttan and (had a son
Sven?), second with Nils Ersson in 1765 and had 6 children and a son and 3 daughters
live. Died of sick fever. Was 54 years old. (Note that the birth date and birth
year are an error.)

Note: Per Kjell Nordqvist, "Boo is a parish but also a big estate. It has
certainly not disappeared, but it is a very vigorous enterprise. The name of
Boholm was changed to Boo at the end of the 1600´s. In 1672 the estate

Jörgen Fryxell:
"År 1726 instämde han sin svåger Olof Olsson Slång
i Torrvarpsund [gift med Indrid Jakobsdotter Sundbom] för att denne kallat
Pers hustru 'slyna, sakramentska kona och hora' - de hade tvistat om vem som
skulle få ta båten till kyrkan. Olof drog kortaste strået
vid tinget och fick böta. Men vid samma ting begärde Per Sundbom att
få utlösa Slång ur Torrvarpssundshemmanet för att bli
ensam herre på täppan, vilket misslyckades."
and a translation from Ingrid Clenman:
In 1726, he brought a court action against his brother-in-law Olof Olsson Slång
(married to Ingrid Jakobsdotter Sundbom) because the latter had called Per's
wife 'slut, bloody bitch and whore' - they had been arguing about who would
get to use the boat to go church. Olof lost in court and had to pay fines. But
at the same court, Per Sundbom petitioned for permission to buy Slång
out from the property of Torrvarpsund so that he could be sole master there,
but he was unsuccessful."

with him 50 years had 8 children - 2 sons & 6 daughters. Has been a widow
for 19 years. Been bedridden for 6 years from old age. Buried 30 March. Age
91 years. Please note that her given birthdate is unlikely given the birth of
Carin in 1722; Cherstin's birthdate is probably closer to her husband's [1682].

Stina b. 15 March 1729 (Fellingsbro) causes a great deal of difficulty as Johan
(#696) had a daughter Stina born 16/5 1729. To add to the confusion, it seems,
Stockhus 1887, that both Stinas married men from the Bergman family. I suggest
that to keep the Stinas less confused that the patronymic be added. In any case,
the Stina who married Magnus Bergman is the Stina who later married Daniel Ersson;
I believe that that Stina was Stina Johansdotter Stockhus.

"År 1663 riktades en fruktansvärd beskyllning mot färjkarlen
i Torrvarpsund Sven Jacobssons hustru Karin, att hon skulle ha slagit injäl
sin tjänsteflicka. Flickans far drog saken inför tinget men måste
ta tillbaka sin anklagelse, som han gjort i god tro, erkänna att dottern
dött av sjukdom och ge hustru Karin full upprattelse. Att hon var en temperamentsfull
kvinna, därom vittnar i alla fall tingsprotokollet vid ett annat tillfälle,
då Karin fick böta för att hon på allmän väg
ryckt ett kläde från en ung kvinna och skällt henne för
tjuv."

"In 1663, a terrible accusation was made against the wife of the ferry
man of Torrvarpsund Sven Jacobsson, Karin, that she had beaten her servant girl
to death. The girl's father brought the case to court, but had to withdraw his
accusation, which he had brought forward in good faith, and admit that his daughter
had died of illness and give wife Karin complete restitution. That fact that
she was a hot tempered woman can be seen from the court records on another occasion,
when Karin had to pay fines for having torn the head cloth off a young woman
on a public road and called her a thief."
Torrvarpsund was begun by Finns from Björkskogsnäs. Its name first
appears in 1641.

[October] 1677. I have found no Adam in the birth records which begin at about
the same time, so am not sure of Adam's mother
