MORRIS GENEALOGY with allied families of Parks (Connecticut, New York, Ohio and Michigan), Burgess (New York, Missouri, Texas), Roberts (Virginia and Missouri). Please note that the Migration Maps are not intended to show the exact route taken by ancestors, only the general movement direction and timeframe for major stops. Most early travel was by foot, with -- as one relative expressed it -- "only the terminally pregnant riding." If it could be afforded, rafting down the rivers was preferred as transportation.
PARKES RESEARCH This link is to the Park/e/s families of New England from 1630 to about 1775. The states represented are CT, MA, NH, VT, NY, and ME. Here is the link to the Revolutionary War Service and Pension list. S denotes served, P is a verifiable pension. New, as of January 2006, is the updated Parks Research in a more convenient format. Explanation of assumptions.
SWEDISH GENEALOGY families from Jönköpings län, Örebro län, Värmland, and Östergötland. Included are many connections to Vallon lines (Walloon). The genealogy begins with Grandparents, 3rd GGP, 4th GGP, 5th GGP, 6th GGP, 7th GGP, 8th GGP, 9th to 10th GGP, and 11th to 17th.

I am providing pages with the four lines from my grandparents so that those working on the same lines may more easily identify family members. Also, these are the pages with links to family photographs.
LINDQUIST
The two areas for this part of the family are the light green area around Nässjö
and the light green area extending from south of Örebro and north to Mora.
The northern part of this family has Vallon connections. The unusual geographical
joining of the families took place in 1732 with the marriage of Isaac Samuel
Almeline to Margretha Beckia.
HAGMAN
This family resided in the area encircled by red. Extensive Vallon connections.
Please note that Lindgren line appears here but is also a part of the Lundberg
line.
LUNDBERG
This family resided in the area encircled by blue. Lundberg line also includes
Lindgren line, however, Lindgren is covered in the above Hagman line.
LINSTRUM
The members of this family married in the United States. It is unlikely, because
of the geographical distances, that they would have ever met in Sweden. The
Linstrum side is in the area encircled by purple and the Peterson family overlap
into nearly the same geographical areas covered by the Hagman line in the red
circled area. I have determined that there is a Vallon heritage in the Peterson
line.
GREAT WHITE FLEET - the journey around the world from 1907 to 1909 by 16 battleships, auxilliary vessels and manned by 14,000 sailors.
